2026-02-08 replaced starter cord and primer bulb hose
5/32nds ID hose is what i bought the wall thickness is much larger than the original, i said i didn't think it would matter at all
put it back together and it was hunting and surging; took off throttle control and sprayed carb cleaner on linkage to governor

2025-02-21 adjusted auger belt
to get the belly pan out I had to take off the wheels. I couldn't get the left side wheel off so I watched this video
I ended up cutting off the bolt heads on the 2 bolts that had the clip on threaded nut substitute thing and reconnecting them with zip ties
thus i never got the wheel on that side off
there was a nasty mouse nest in there
followed the "ATTACHMENT CLUTCH / BRAKE ADJUSTMENT" on pdpf28 to 30 of "owners manual.pdf"
and it greatly improved the distance snow is thrown
my only misstep was in portion "Adjust the Attachment Clutch Cable Sprign Extension" step 2 where my distance was 0.57 inches and I first tried doing step 2b and that was the wrong way (2c is the correct adjustment in this situation)
